1989 Ford Sierra Sapphire Cosworth

My 1989 Ford Sierra Sapphire Cosworth came to the shores of New Zealand, from the UK, in 1994. I'm the fourth New Zealand owner, and the car has just passed the 100,000 mile mark. The car was originally purchased for parts, mainly destined for my Sierra Wagon. After driving the car, there was no way I was going to strip it.

Previous owners made a few modifications from stock; group A head, various higher performance parts within the block, upping the boost to 12psi and dropping the car on Koni Adjustables. I've since added the 4WD spec front indicators (clear), rear smoked tail-lights, a gauge pod in the drivers pillar with boost pressure and oil temp gauge and dropped the boost back down to factory (9psi).

Future Plans

All previous plans on modification of this vehicle have been cancelled, as you'll no doubt by now know that this vehicle has being stripped of parts and sold.
